Octo-baby!

So I was in a meeting the other day and drew this doodle.

I really liked it, and so I decided to turn it into a painting. I'm by no means a pro at this, but my hope is that eventually I'll break the barrier between sketching and painting in color. As it is I'm way more comfortable working in line/ black and white.

I'll post the final when I'm done! :)

Baby Andrew on a plane.

I drew baby Andrew on the plane- he was very excited to be so high in the air. I'm glad we got a window seat! And by the by, baby Alligators love the weather in California :)

A Little Doodle about Inner Demons.

Sometimes I have an idea in my head that I just have to get out on paper. I like the idea of the canine-like spider, so oblivious, trusting, and simple, standing by as the little girl tries to deal with her situation. It's a difficult one, as it may involve giving up her faithful companion and his questionable usefulness if she wants to play with the other children. I think we all have spiders that live in the form of defunct tools created from artifacts of our past experiences.

But I mean, it's just a little doodle :)
