My second OOAK doll is inspired by Stanley Kubrick's 'A Clockwork Orange', which is one of my all-time favorite movies. I'm also sharing my inspiration board, in case you haven't seen the film or need a reminder. :) I got the idea right after rooting Raggedy Annie's hair, (previous post), because it was so puffy right after rooting that it reminded me of one of the Corova Milk Bar ladies! (Reference image below.)
This young lady isn't just any devotchka- no, she's a droog in her own right! Clockwork Orange 'Barbie' is an OOAK Barbie repaint with hair, clothes, and accessories hand-made by me. A bit of trivia: the fabric I used for her corset is an inside-out Star Wars print. (Yes, I am a huge dork.) She's been done for a couple of weeks but I've been working on my book pretty much non-stop.
